I think they have added too much to the story for it to be 2 movies --just to get more cash out of people,---pathetic! (the book is not that long really).

to an extent yes, ...a person who has an unkempt appearance is probably someone who doesnt care about those kinds of things, one who has every little thing in place is probably someone who wont deal well with change, etc....

Because we as a society have been grown more impatient and can't slow down and appreciate the small things as much anymore. That, and people need to learn to leave earlier so they have more time to get somewhere, I'm just saying...
